Mirta Desir, mirta_desir@yahoo.com or 347-680-5247, is a volunteer

coordinating transportation, housing & security for doctors interested in

assisting with relief efforts in Haiti. Once on the ground, her contacts

will connect doctors with local hospitals for 1 or 2 week periods. Right

now, Ms. Desir has confirmed flights on 2/1 and 2/8. 80 seats are available

on each flight. I believe these flights leave from Miami, so doctors who

volunteer would have to arrange for transportation there. I believe any

medical supplies would also be appreciated for these flights, as few

supplies are available at the hospitals in Haiti. Doctors are first priority

for this mission while Mirta has begun a waiting list for ER nurses

interested in assisting.
