Volunteers needed. 20,000 participants expected each year. We love groups, clubs, organizations, companies, and yes...as many individuals as would like to come! Much assistance is needed to support participant arrival, parking, set up/break down, walk paths, water stops, children's activities, etc.
This event specifically benefits the Marcus Autism Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Autism Speaks! 1:70 boys and 1:110 children are now affected by Autism. Register now and/or become a volunteer at www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/georgia.
....Can't make it that day?....you can make a donation to "Sami's Team" online if you'd like. We are an Emory family and support CHOA and the Marcus Autism Center! Thanks so much and hope to meet many of you there!
While this is a posting for the Georgia Walk, many walks are held around the US, see www.walknowforautismspeaks.org for the complete listing and other unique volunteer opportunities!

I missed the program on the 19th of May for Autism at the Georgia World Congress Center. I have a family member who is on the Autism spectrum, so I need to learn more.
