Most large nonprofits (including churches) have literature asking for endowments. This is another resource for accomplishing a change for the better in the world. 85% of funding for nonprofits comes from individuals. (The Foundation Center) Many nonprofits, like Smile Train will give directions and information to people to think about endowments. Others like Carewear.org do not need to mention it and it isn't mentioned on their website. They do receive endowments. Not because of what they are asking for. Carewear receives endowments because they help so much that people are grateful.

Home Depot and also Sam's Club and also Wal-Mart will each give a $25 gift card to a nonprofit once a year. They are given $300 a month to give to nonprofits every month, as long as the nonprofits don't ask for more than $25 a year. This is the kind of information I am including on the blog http://www.FearThouNot4.blogspot.com

$1 makes a big difference Who wants to use your dollar to send yourself to a summit? Megabus is a service in the US that is $1 to travel one way for a long distance. http://www.megabus.com If so little can move you or me, or someone you know long distances, what is stopping you and me and someone we know from being at the next Global Health and Humanitarian Summit this April 12, at Emory U.? What about your University? Start with the Provost of the University. Anyone can do this Summit!
