A Global Movement for Change
This is an international movement to recruit volunteers and resources, network people doing good works, and to ignite similar events around the globe. You’ve heard of the World Economic Summit…this is the Global Humanitarian Summit! Participants are not looking for fame or fortune; they simply want all humans to lead a peaceful, healthy life with adequate food, water, and shelter. These people are from all religions, political parties, nationalities, and economic strata. Through events such as the 2011 Summit held at Emory University, we hope to collectively foster and harness the tremendous human potential to do good!

One example of a true humanitarian is the real PATCH ADAMS who was played by ROBIN WILLIAMS in the movie about his life. Patch is engaged in many humanitarian efforts, including leading clown troupes of "nasal ambassadors" to places in need... whether it's Cuban pediatric wards, Kosovo war camps, or Russian orphanages! PATCH ADAMS performed live at the 2011 event at Emory University!
